1. Who we are

Readli (“we”, “us”) provides personalized children's books created and reviewed by a parent or legal guardian. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

2. Information we collect

• Parent account: name, email address, and billing details (processed by our payment provider; we never store full card numbers).
• Child profiles: a first name or nickname, age, and reading level you provide to personalize stories.
• Story inputs: the interests, themes, and prompts entered to generate a book.

3. How we use it

We use this information solely to generate and deliver personalized books, to let you review and approve content before your child sees it, and to operate your account. We do not sell personal information or use a child's data for advertising.

4. Children's privacy (COPPA)

Readli is operated by parents on behalf of their children. We collect a child's information only with verifiable parental consent, limit it to what is needed to create books, and give you control to review, export, or delete it at any time.

5. Your choices

You can edit or delete child profiles, delete your account, and withdraw consent at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your private data.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, you (“Subscriber”) agree to be bound by this Software-as-a-Service Agreement (“Agreement”) with Readli (“Provider”). If you do not agree, do not create an account.

2. Service description

Readli provides an AI-powered platform for generating personalised children's books. Access is provided on a subscription basis as described on the pricing page. Features and limits vary by plan.

3. Subscription & payment

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle.
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or stated in our refund policy.
• We may update pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the platform.
• Submit content that is harmful, abusive, or infringes third-party rights.
• Share account credentials or allow third parties to access your account.

5. Intellectual property

Books generated using the service are owned by you. Readli retains ownership of the platform, underlying models, and all proprietary technology. You grant Readli a limited licence to process your inputs solely to deliver the service.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Readli's total liability to you for any claim arising under this Agreement is limited to the fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time. Upon termination your access to the service ends. You may export your books before cancelling. Readli may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Agreement without notice.

8. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Readli is incorporated. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
